"Seamless" gets tossed around in advertising a lot. But it's accurate when describing an ideal gaming setup—a slick end-to-end with no shaky take-off or wobbly landing with perfectly smooth visual, sound, and manual interfaces.

We're going to review the ten best pre-built gaming PCs on Reddit. These are desktop units ready-to-go with a simple setup and boot.

If you are new to this: the stand-alone console will need, of course, a lightning-fast CPU. The gaming PC also needs a GPU (graphics processing unit) which is the subcontractor in charge of calculating, configuring, and then translating the operations into visible media on the monitor.

For gaming PCs, one is not more important than the other; they both have to be good. The non-stop high-speed processing and change-ups in gaming require a balance of powers.

Diehard gaming is big into the build. Prebuilds may be a bit pricier, but it's full-service.

Finally, a gaming PC is a peak-performance item in terms of computing. It's a TB conversation most of the time. We're not talking about minivans as office computers or sportscars as laptops. Gaming PCs are more like versions of Formula 1 racers. So let's get to it.

1) CORSAIR ONE PRO a200 Compact Workstation Class PC

  • ‎3.4 GHz Ryzen 9 CPU
  • ‎2 TB SSD
  • ‎NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (coprocessor)
  • Reddit u/Epiclydeelstra said, "My pc is similar to that, it can play modern warfare on high settings at about 100fps. It's still pretty good for modern games but for some reason it doesn't like minecraft much".
  • One does not simply talk about gaming PCs without including Corsair. Digging out a major retailer that carries specific models is tricky, but we wanted to have Corsair. The product name indicates it's a hybrid-use machine. However, with it being Corsair, it's a plug-and-play situation with any decent monitor for mid-to-higher level processing games.

  • This is almost half the cost of the CyberPower PC above for a gaming-specific setup at home without simply diving into 4-figure computing price. You can scoop this up for under 1,000 USD if you find a promo, as noted on Reddit. AMD High-Performance Wraith Cooler w/ illuminated fans. 60+ fps right there in the description.

  • The brands for game-specific PC lines are not household names, but this is the exception. This one shows Dell's company image as affordable computers that anyone can figure out.
  • It's a trimmer version at six inches wide and 14 high. It features an inventive textured physical design with LEDs.
  • Pre-built but has easy access thumb-screws for building on to it. *But you'll have to stick with the CPU as-is as some Dell CPUs are post-engineered to be proprietary. And that's a big hang-up for major, institutional-sized PC companies that put out a gaming PC.*
  • Perfect comparatively low-cost starter for the hands-on tech user.

  • Ports-a-plenty front and rear. A good WI-Fi set up out-of-the-box if lower-consumption games are your thing.

  • Description rattles off all the big guys and a lot of triple-as. 1440p Quad HD means, as pre-built goes, no futzing with specs to run a high fps in better-than-standard resolution.

  • 5.1 GHz with a very recent intel processor is fast. 2 TB is a lot out of the box. There are a dozen options for configuration. It looks like, is built like, and marketed like a Nasdaq-leader's interpretation of a gaming PC: the product name, the insignia, and the font. But, like a leader, the specs and the bottom line speak for themselves.
